GivArk5 Dance Video Contest

Let's get Healthier! Let's Dance!

  • Organize a group of friends, family members or open to individual(s) who want to learn/choreograph a dance routine and have some fun.
  • You may choose from 1st Lady Michelle Obama's Gimme Five Challenge, Beyonce's Let's Move video or you can create your own GivArk5 dance routine.

  • It could appear on national/local TV!
  • Winning videos will be showcased in the Let's Dance 2 Health Day documentary video & prizes awarded.

 

Photo Contest

This Photo contest will heighten awareness of Dance and its contributions to our culture; body, mind and spirit.

  • 1st place winning photo will receive a featured story in the MauMag Magazine September & October issue , 2nd & 3rd place photos will be recognized in the article.
  • 1st prize winner $100, 2nd prize winner $50, 3rd prize winner $25 incash.

Poetry/Rap Contest

Health benefits of dancing?

  • Participants will choose music & compose poetry/rap lyrics about dance, exercise & healthy eating.
  • The top 3 entrants will perform at Let's Dance 2 Health Day event.
  • The winner will be selected by the audience.

SCOI envisions Let’s Dance 2 Health Day recognized and supported statewide for its value in bringing awareness to physical activity and healthier lifestyles for Arkansans.

SCOI’s goal is to increase the percentage of Arkansans of all ages who engage in Let’s Dance 2 Health Day and its’ opportunities for exposure to the arts, physical activity & health benefits.
